Dear teachers and classmates:
Good morning. I am Gao Zicheng from Class 8 Grade 9 . Today, Chen Yihao and I will bring you this speech under the national flag. Our topic: With Passion, Toward the Horizon — Sowing Hope in the Name of Spring.
Spring returns. Life awakens. This is nature's most moving prelude — and our best season to plant dreams and cultivate the future. As the old saying goes, "The year's plan begins in spring." The breeze wakes sleeping buds. The rain feeds newborn strength. Every seed breaking through the soil tells of persistence and hope. Every plant growing toward the sun shows passion and power. We, too, stand in the spring of our lives, holding seeds of time, ready to work and bloom.
Passion is our firmest strength. It is the sound of morning reading. The focused eyes in class. The refusal to quit when facing difficulty. Because of passion, we never stop climbing mountains of books. Because of passion, we bravely chase dreams. This pure, burning passion crosses thorns, fights confusion, and keeps our hearts bright and steps firm.
Hope hides in every careful word we write, every deep question we ask, every down-to-earth effort we make. It is our vision of the future, our hold on dreams, and our responsibility to our time.
Let us swear this youth oath in the name of spring: Sing freely. Grow wildly. Stay grounded. Chase dreams far. Waste not this spring, waste not these years. Side by side, toward our vast horizon!
Go become the adult you want to be. Keep facing the world with joy. The universe is wide. Live fully. Shine brightly. Trust that you are your own best years.
Thank you.
