🍻 The Belgium Beer Garden Arrives in Nanjing! 🍻

Belgian beer festivals have become successful internationally, bringing people together around Belgium’s rich brewing culture and wide variety of beer styles. In Brussels, the Belgian Beer Weekend gathers 50+ Belgian breweries and 500+ Belgian beers at the iconic Grand-Place, while in Shanghai, the Belgium Beer Garden has already welcomed 50,000+ visitors across two editions. Now, the Belgium Beer Garden is coming to Nanjing for the first time: from June 19–21 and June 26–28, 2026, JLC 金陵中環, in collaboration with Lolypop Events, will host the event in the heart of Xinjiekou, with the endorsement of the Consulate General of Belgium in Shanghai and the Benelux Chamber of Commerce East China, bringing Belgian beer, European food, music, and a relaxed outdoor beer garden atmosphere to Nanjing.

比利时啤酒节已经在国际上获得广泛欢迎，它将人们聚集在一起，共同体验比利时深厚的酿造文化和丰富多样的啤酒风格。在布鲁塞尔，Belgian Beer Weekend 于标志性的 大广场 Grand-Place 举办，汇聚 50 多家比利时酒厂和 500 多款比利时啤酒；而在上海，比利时啤酒花园已经成功举办两届，累计吸引 50,000 多名观众 到场。

现在，比利时啤酒花园将首次来到 南京。2026年6月19日–21日及6月26日–28日，JLC 金陵中環 将携手 Lolypop Events，在 新街口 核心区域举办本次活动，并获得 比利时王国驻上海总领事馆 及 荷比卢商会华东区 的荣誉支持，为南京带来比利时啤酒、欧洲美食、音乐，以及轻松开放的户外啤酒花园氛围。

Why do Belgian beers stand out?

These Belgian beers stand out because they are not built only on trends, but on real brewing history, technical know-how, and distinctive traditions. At Belgium Beer Garden, we want people to discover them at reasonable prices, thanks to the support of the participating breweries, and also enjoy several of them on draft, which is still rare in China.

Duvel is known for its precise brewing process as a strong golden ale with bottle refermentation and classic European hops. Chimay represents the Trappist tradition, first brewed by the monks of Scourmont Abbey in 1862 under monastic supervision. Straffe Hendrik is known for its powerful Belgian specialty beers, including one of Belgium’s first quadrupels, with rich malt, dark fruit, spice, and a full-bodied character. Timmermans, founded in 1702, is one of the oldest lambic breweries in the world, representing spontaneous fermentation and aged sour beer traditions from the lambic region. Kasteel shows the more modern and innovative side of Belgian beer, from the rich caramel depth of Kasteel Donker to the smooth, cherry-driven Kasteel Rouge and the tropical profile of Kasteel Tropical, two beers that are especially rare to find on draft in China.

This edition will feature more than 60 beers, including names like Kasteel, Duvel, Vedett, 12 Square Meters, Blanche de Bruges, Brugse Zot, Straffe Hendrik, Timmermans, Amstel, Chimay, Delirium,  and more surprises still to be announced.

本届活动将带来 60 多款啤酒，让观众在同一个场景中探索丰富多样的比利时啤酒风格。酒单将包括 Kasteel、Duvel、Vedett、12 Square Meters、Blanche de Bruges、Brugse Zot、Straffe Hendrik、Timmermans、Amstel、Chimay、Delirium 等品牌，更多惊喜也将陆续公布。

And Yes, There’ll Be Proper Food Too

The event will feature Belgian-style food such as mussels, Belgian fries, waffles, Belgian-style burgers, and European sausages served with Belgian beer gravy, paired with a wide selection of Belgian beers.

We are still looking for exhibitors selling Western-style food to join the first edition. For this first Nanjing edition, there is no fixed booth fee. The cooperation model is based only on 20% of on-site sales revenue, making it a simple and flexible opportunity for quality food brands to participate.

Music & Entertainment

Alongside the beer and food, international DJs will be playing across the whole weekend, easing the vibe from daytime drinks into something livelier at night. As it gets darker, the square gradually warms up too — from relaxed, to pleasantly tipsy, to not really wanting to leave. There’ll also be classic European beer games and surprise prizes, so it’s not just about grabbing a drink — it’s about getting into the flow of the whole thing. Music on, beer in hand, games happening around you!
