南京大学智能科学与技术学院是南京大学在苏州校区首批建设的学院之一。在人工智能技术已成为新质生产力要素,正在带动新一轮信息技术革命的浪潮中,学院依据南京大学对于各校区同等标准、错位发展的指导意见,依托南京大学计算机软件新技术全国重点实验室,大力建设和发展视觉智能、通用智能、类脑智能、具身智能、科学智能等智能科学前沿方向。同时,结合南京大学苏州校区新工科的办学特色,突出多学科交叉融合,面向智能制造、医疗健康、国防科技等重点行业领域开展人才培养和关键技术研究。
学院目前拥有一支近60人的高水平师资队伍,其中中国科学院院士1人,国家级领军人才2人,国家级青年人才20人,每年招收和培养本科生250人。学院有计算机科学与技术、电子信息2个硕博学位授权点,现有博导60人。学院设立视觉计算与智能感知研究中心,联合建设南京大学-中国移动联合研究院、南京大学健康医疗大数据国家研究院等。
南京大学智能科学与技术学院拟面向全球招聘有志于从事智能科学与技术领域教学、科研的优秀青年人才到学院工作。本次拟招聘准聘副教授、准聘助理教授若干名,特别优秀的高层次人才岗位另议。招聘研究方向包括但不限于:

1.遵守中华人民共和国法律和法规,热爱教学科研事业;
2.具有良好的师德师风,恪守学术道德,勤勉工作,无犯罪记录,无违反师德师风和学术道德惩处记录;
3.一流的学术背景:具有相关学科领域的博士学位,具有一流教学科研机构的学习、工作经验,熟悉相关领域国际前沿的研究动态。原则上,准聘助理教授要求博士毕业从事学术研究2年以上,准聘副教授要求博士毕业从事学术研究4年以上;
4.出色的教学能力:应具有能够胜任本专业核心基础课程和前沿课程的教学能力,掌握良好的教学方法,具有较强的语言表达能力;
5.突出的科研成果显示度与未来科研发展潜力:应有相关研究方向的成果显示度,对相关研究领域有原创性观点,未来研究计划思路清晰,具有较好的学术潜力。
6.截至招聘公告发布之日未满40周岁(即指1986年3月9日以后出生),以有效期内的身份证件上的日期为准。如申请人已具有副高及以上职称,年龄可适当放宽;

Tenure-Track/Tenured Faculty Positions in School of Intelligence Science and Technology,

The School of Intelligence Science and Technology (IS) at Nanjing University is one of the first colleges established at the Suzhou campus. As artificial intelligence technology becomes a transformative force in productivity and propels a new wave of the information technology revolution, the school adheres to Nanjing University’s guidelines of maintaining equal standards while fostering distinct development across its campuses. Leveraging the National Key Laboratory of New Software Technology at Nanjing University, the school is actively advancing research in cutting-edge areas such as Vision and Perception Intelligence, Embodied Intelligence Systems, Applied and Scientific Intelligence, Cognitive and Decision-Making Intelligence and Brain-Inspired and Hybrid Intelligence. Aligned with the distinct emphasis of the new engineering disciplines at Nanjing University’s Suzhou campus, the school prioritizes interdisciplinary integration, focusing on talent cultivation, cutting-edge technology research and transfer in critical industry sectors such as intelligent manufacturing, healthcare, and defense technology.
Currently, IS boasts a distinguished faculty team of nearly 60 members, including 1 Fellow of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 2 National Leading Talent, and 20 National Young Talents. The school admits 250 undergraduate students annually and offers two master’s and doctoral degree programs in Computer Science and Technology and Electronic Information, encompassing four graduate research tracks with 60 doctoral supervisors. The school has established the Visual Computing and Intelligent Perception Research Center, and has co-founded the Nanjing University–China Mobile Joint Research Institute and the National Research Institute for Health and Medical Big Data at Nanjing University.
We are actively seeking outstanding global talents to join IS. Our current vacancies primarily include tenure-track assistant professor and tenure-track associate professor positions. Exceptionally qualified candidates for senior faculty positions will be considered on a case-by-case basis

The applicant should
1.abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, and have a passion for teaching and research;
2.abide by the ethics of teachers, uphold academic integrity, be willing to work diligently, and have no criminal record or record in breaching the ethics of teachers and/or academic integrity;
3.have a first-rate background in academic training—specifically, a PhD in relevant disciplines, experience in studying and/or working at first-rate teaching and research institutions, and knowledge of the latest international trends and development in the relevant research field(s); In principle, the applicant for Assistant Professor should have engaged in academic research for more than two years after receiving the doctoral degree. The applicant for Associate Professor should have engaged in academic research for more than four years after receiving the doctoral degree.
4.have outstanding teaching abilities—the applicant should be able to teach core and frontline courses in the corresponding discipline, and have sound teaching methodology and strong verbal skills;
5.demonstrate outstanding research output and potential—the applicant should have publications in his/her field of research, original ideas about relevant fields of research, a clear vision about future research plans, and good potential for further academic development.
6.be in good health.
