Nanjing Hongshan Forest Zoo to Expand to 69.3 Hectares

On April 3, the expansion plan of Nanjing Hongshan Forest Zoo was officially publicized. The zoo will integrate areas including Dahong Mountain, Xiaohong Mountain, Fangniu Mountain and Heshang Mountain, expanding from the current 55.9 hectares to 69.3 hectares. New venues such as a River and Stream Pavilion will be added to build a world-class urban zoo. The expansion will optimize animal habitats, enrich exhibition contents, enhance visitor experience, boost the high-quality development of Nanjing's cultural and tourism industry, and provide better ecological leisure and science education space for citizens and tourists.

红山森林动物园拟扩容至 69.3 公顷

4 月 3 日，南京红山森林动物园扩容规划正式公示。园区将整合大红山、小红山、放牛山、和尚山区域，由现 55.9 公顷扩至 69.3 公顷，新增河川馆等场馆，打造国际一流城市动物园。扩容后将优化动物栖息环境，丰富展陈内容，提升游客游览体验，助力南京文旅产业高质量发展，为市民及游客提供更优质的生态休闲与科普教育空间。
