Nanjing, located in eastern China along the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, is the capital of Jiangsu Province, a sub-provincial city, and the core city of the Nanjing Metropolitan Area. As an important central city in eastern China, Nanjing is a national hub for scientific research, education, and historical culture. With a history of over 7,000 years of civilization and nearly 500 years as a capital, Nanjing is one of the cradles of Chinese civilization. The city boasts a strategic location at the intersection of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the eastern coastal economic zone, serving as a key node for the development of central and western regions. Nanjing is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, including the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), as well as famous landmarks such as the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and Confucius Temple.

南京工程学院是一所具有百年办学历史、深厚工科底蕴、鲜明应用特色的江苏省属普通高校，是教育部“卓越工程师教育培养计划”和“CDIO 工程教育改革”首批试点高校，国家机电控制类人才培养模式创新试验区，全国产学研合作典型高校，全国毕业生就业典型经验高校，全国国防教育特色学校，全国创业孵化示范基地，全国高等学校应用型本科院校专门委员会主任委员单位，全国应用型高校研究生教育发展联盟副理事长单位，江苏省高教学会应用型本科院校研究会理事长单位。

Nanjing Institute of Technology (NJIT) is a general university administered directly by Jiangsu Province with centurial history, deep engineering foundation, and distinct characteristics of application-oriented specialties. Serve as a directorial unit of China’s National Special Committee for Applied Undergraduate Colleges and Universities and a vice presidential unit of the National Development Alliance for Applied Graduate Education Universities, NJIT stands among the first pilot universities to enter the “Program for Educating and Training Excellent Engineers” and the “CDIO Engineering Education Reform Program”. Associated with the national pilot zone for innovative models in cultivating electromechanical control talents, NJIT is a national model for the collaborative development of enterprises, universities and research institutions, as well as the typical university experienced in promoting graduate employment of nationwide reputation.

学校位于南京江宁方山风景区，占地近 3000 亩，湖光鹭影的现代化、生态型、花园式校园，环境优美、设施优越。现有 21 个教育教学单位，全日制在校生 2.7 万余名，其中硕士研究生近 1500 名。现有教职工 2100 余名，其中专任教师 1600 余名，具有博士学位专任教师占比 64%，具有高级职称专业教师占比 54%。现有国家杰青、享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家、中国科协青年人才托举工程入选者、江苏省特聘教授、江苏省教学名师等省级及以上高层次人才 310 人次，拥有江苏“六大人才高峰”创新团队、江苏省高校科技创新团队、江苏省“青蓝工程”优秀教学团队等高层次人才团队 16 个。

Located in the Fangshan Scenic Area of Jiangning District of Nanjing, an ancient and modern city, NJIT boasts a total area of nearly 200 hectares, with a total construction area exceeding 80 hectares, and offers a set of superior facilities for education and teaching activities. Currently, we have 21 educational and teaching departments and over 27,000 full-time students, approximately 1,500 of whom are engaged in postgraduate studies. These students are supported by over 2,100 faculty members, of which 64% are full-time teachers holding doctorate degrees, 54% have senior professional titles. The university boasts a high-caliber faculty of 310 high-level talents at or above the provincial level, including recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, experts enjoying Special Government Allowances of the State Council, members selected for the Young Talent Support Program of the China Association for Science and Technology, Distinguished

Professors of Jiangsu Province, and Famous Teachers of Higher Education in Jiangsu Province. It is also home to 16 high-level talent teams, such as the innovative teams of the "Six Talent Peaks" Program of Jiangsu Province, the Scientific and Technological Innovation Teams of Colleges and Universities in Jiangsu Province, and the Outstanding Teaching Teams of the "Qinglan Project" in Jiangsu Province.
