Connect server power cables to redundant PDUs and confirm correct phase distribution.
Order, install and certify cross-connects with exchanges and carriers, test for loss and obtain signed acceptance.
Mount the PTP Grandmaster, install the GPS/GNSS antenna, run timing fiber and verify sub-microsecond clock synchronization.
Perform environmental checks—rack weight limits, airflow, fire-suppression clearance—and complete lock-out/tag-out safety procedures before powering equipment.
Coordinate vendor technicians, sign off on acceptance of installed hardware/cabling.
Create and maintain an inventory-driven physical change record that includes photographs, test results and required approvals, and ensure the record is closed promptly after the work is completed.Diagnose and remediate on-site incidents such as fiber breaks, SFP failures, server component faults or power loss, and log corrective actions.
Conduct quarterly physical audits, scan asset tags, reconcile assets and update the CMDB.
Travel to data-centres in China, lead installation teams and deliver hand-off documentation to local operations.
Add newly installed devices to monitoring platforms, set performance baselines and configure alert thresholds.
Provide morning-shift coverage and remain on-call for holidays and weekends to address urgent physical or network issues.
Minimum 3 years in network services related experience, Holder of vendor certification is preferable (CCNA), Fluency in English.
Knowledge of rackmount standards, power distribution (PDUs/UPS), cooling, firesuppression and safety procedures.
Familiarity with financialdatacenter environments and the exchangecolocation ecosystem.
Expertise with highperformance, lowlatency switching hardware.
Knowledge of x86 hardware, servernetworking peripherals, and datacentre setups.
Skill in technical troubleshooting, system recovery, rootcause analysis, and remediation, including coordination with vendors and remote technical staff.
Creating accurate physical change records, wiring diagrams, asset inventories and audit reports.
