5 月 11 日，南京审计大学一名研三学生因用手机偷拍女生裙底被抓。他实施这种侵犯隐私行为的画面被曝光并在网络上广泛传播。尽管他应受害者要求删除了所有照片和视频，仍很快受到一系列严厉处罚。学校对其作出开除学籍、撤销学位资格的处分；同时，他因违法被处以行政拘留十日，原本拿到的南京市税务局公务员录用资格也被取消。考虑到考取硕士学位、获得公职岗位十分不易，该处罚不可谓不重，但绝大多数网友认为他罪有应得。

On May 11th, a third-year graduate student at Nanjing Audit University was caught using his mobile phone to take upskirt photos of a female student. Images of him committing this privacy-infringing offense were posted online and widely circulated. Although he deleted all the photos and videos at the request of the victim, he quickly faced a series of severe consequences. The university took disciplinary action to expel him and revoke his degree qualifications. Furthermore, he faced a ten-day administrative detention for violating the law, as well as the 1___ of a civil service job offer from the Nanjing Tax Bureau. Considering the difficulty of obtaining a master's degree and securing a government position, this penalty is severe; however, the majority of netizens argue that he fully deserves this punishment.

Psychologists have attributed this type of offense to several underlying factors. Firstly, many young people today are exposed to vulgar, 2___ information on the internet, which distorts their views on the opposite sex and romantic relationships. Secondly, some well-educated individuals lack extensive experience with socialization. This means they lack the confidence to go out on dates or establish healthy romantic relationships, leading them to resort to hidden, improper methods to satisfy their psychological cravings. Thirdly, the education system has overwhelmingly prioritized academic performance and job prospects. University curriculums are devoted to lectures, academic tasks, and career-oriented activities, often neglecting courses that teach young adults behavioral boundaries, how to act as law-abiding citizens, and how to exercise good judgment when their selfish desires conflict with legal and moral principles.

Having said that, many people support the decisions made by the university and the authorities, arguing that severe punishment is necessary to deter such behavior. Because these incidents are covered in the media from time to time, it is unconvincing to exempt perpetrators from 3___ by suggesting they were unaware of the consequences of their violations. Whenever this kind of story breaks on the internet, it rightfully attracts widespread criticism; it is virtually impossible for any university-educated individual to be unaware of what this behavior entails. A much more plausible explanation is that these individuals risk committing such acts based on the arrogant assumption that they might go unnoticed and get away with it. Therefore, the only way to prevent this recurring problem is to penalize offenders harshly. Furthermore, extensive coverage of this incident itself serves to educate the public about society's absolute zero-tolerance policy toward such behavior.
